The image contains a photograph of two men, holding one another in a loving manner. The forward man is wearing a grey shirt and a black bomber jacket and the man in the background is wearing a blue shirt. Both the men look joyful. The meaning behind the photograph is that the photographer, Jamie Thrower is an LGBTQ+ activist who loves telling queer love stories through her photography. She is the owner and photographer for Studio XIII Photography which is an LGBTQ photography studio. She recognises that not everyone fits into the stereotypical love story with the stereotypical love story being a cisgender heterosexual couple that gets married and has 1 boy and 1 girl. Which would be a typical nuclear family. Another issue that Jamie highlights within her photography would be differences within people. For example, in the media it is rare that you would see someone with vitiligo, but Thrower tends to highlight these issues within her modern love photography.
